What to expect:
A gentle warm up, followed by Qigong exercises and Tai Chi form, depending on the class. A form is a set sequence of movements.
All exercises are done standing. No special equipment is required but comfortable clothing and footwear should be worn.
While the exercises are gentle they can have surprisingly strong benefits – class participants should only do what is comfortable for them. This is called working to “Soft Limits” and is a fundamental principle of these arts. If you have any doubts about your ability to take part consult your health professional.
